“The Plot In You” Is The Band For You – By Shannon Smith

The Plot in You, hailing from Hancock, Ohio is an American Metalcore band founded in 2010 by frontman Landon Tewers, with members Josh Childress on guitar, Ethan Yoder on bass, and Michael Cooper on drums.

The band has a strong discography with 5 studio albums under their belt and several EPs including their recently released Grammy nominated song ‘Forgotten’, which is a personal favorite of mine. The most recent EPs are titled Vol. 1 and Vol. 2, and they contain 3 tracks each. Every new song is better and harder than the last, with a truly original sound and crushing vocals. One of the best vocalists and lyricists in the metalcore scene, Landon screams with the raw emotion of a man who feels every single word he wrote.

Their live show is not to be missed. They are one of the few bands that sound even better on stage. Twice the past year I’ve gone to their shows and feel they’re one of the rare performers who stay true to their studio sound.

Having highly stylized and darkly artistic music videos, they are a cut above your average metalcore band and well worth checking out. They are my favorite band, and I just know they will become one of yours, too.
